What is IT?
I have been working in the IT sector last 10 years in a direct or indirect position. Most of my experience is coming from a school-wide environment. In school, I provided technical and billing support to the teachers and school administration which involves everything from troubleshooting to managing school networks, Google Suite accounts, hardware, and software issues. In past years, I have been working as an IT Specialist in a charter school and as a working salesforce solution engineer. Now you know a little bit about me. Let’s find out What is information technology?
According to the Oxford dictionary, Information Technology is the study or use of computer systems for storing, retrieving, and sending information. Computers are transformative devices that changed our life completely. Thanks to it, we can communicate big amounts of information to anyone with the help of the internet. Its application to our daily life is massive from calculators to medical equipment, to complex satellite systems and the banking industry. They are powerful and invaluable gadgets to get our work done easily and enable us to communicate freely in way of very different forms. So we can say that IT refers to the entire sector of jobs and resources that are related to computing technologies within our community and their application to different job sectors.
Since IT is an important part of our daily life and work, there are some complications that end users are facing. IT person is coming to the picture at this point.
