What does an IT Support Specialist do?
What IT Support does depends on the line of work that company does and it varies with the size of the company. Most of the time, there is not only one work that IT Support does in a company since the puzzles and challenges are always new and interesting.
In a general sense, an IT Support specialist ensures that an organization’s technological equipment is running smoothly. This includes managing, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring office and computing equipment.
On a normal day, you can help someone to connect the internet to fix their printers to write a script to automate one small work.
In a school setting, I can say that things can be easy to difficult that it depending on the equipment that the school is using. If the school is investing enough to use up-to-date equipment, your work might be easier because new equipment is not creating that many problems.
